This Donation Advocate Forum will explore the concept of attunement and its role in creating the foundation for effective, family-centered donation conversations.
Attunement involves recognizing and responding to the needs, emotions, and dynamics of both families and healthcare professionals before a donation discussion ever takes place. Participants will examine how thoughtful observation, information gathering, and interdisciplinary collaboration can help Donation Advocates better understand family perspectives, assess readiness, and build trust during critical moments of care.
