Lisa Turner

Lisa Turner is the wife of Daniel Turner, a 62-year-old elementary school teacher who suffered a fatal cerebral aneurysm and has been declared brain dead. Daniel was not a registered organ donor. Overwhelmed by grief, Lisa struggles to focus on anything beyond the sudden loss of her husband and the disbelief that he is gone. She remembers Daniel as a steady, dependable person who quietly devoted much of his life to caring for his family, students, and others around him. Although these memories are deeply meaningful to Lisa, she is uncertain how they relate to the decision about organ donation she is now facing.
