Sean Cervone

Family Services Coordinator, Legacy of Life Hawaii

Sean is a Family Services Coordinator with the Legacy of Life Hawaii, has a bachelor's degree in psychology, and a background with studying and working with animal behavior.

Sean was introduced to organ donation in 2019, when his mother took her own life via hanging. His family was informed in the hospital that she was a registered organ donor and she ultimately saved the lives of three people and enhanced the lives of many others through tissue. At the time in the hospital, the support received from the OPO was paramount in changing the ending of the story as well as being able to elongate her legacy.

Sean had a unique way of coming into the role, and completed three years as a hospital services coordinator, was a hospital liaison for a Level 1 trauma center in New Jersey, and recently moved to Hawaii and is now a Family Services Coordinator with Legacy of Life Hawaii.
